About the position:

We are currently seeking several excavator operators who will be responsible for operating and maintaining excavators at various job sites. The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of how to operate and maintain excavators, as well as a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators and other heavy machinery to excavate, move, and place materials such as soil, sand, gravel, or other items at the job site.
• Perform routine maintenance on the machine, such as lubricating, inspecting, and adjusting mechanical parts or reporting discrepancies to repair technicians.
• Follow blueprints, instructions, and safety regulations while performing work at the job site.
• Ensure that all tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety regulations and guidelines.
• Work together with supervisors, other machine operators, work teams, and other professionals such as ground workers or construction workers.
• Communicate with project managers or clients to plan and report progress or issues related to the project.

Qualifications:

• Excavator operator license or apprenticeship book.
• Class B driver's license and own vehicle.
• Experience operating excavators and other heavy machinery.
• Attention to detail and ability to assess and manage risks.
